An Entrepreneur becomes successful not merely because of his hard work. What makes you an Entrepreneur is being a Self Starter. It could be possible that you may not join the ranks of billionaires or zillionaires, but possessing some of these characteristics can take you to different level at your workplace too.
Entrepreneurship is about chiseling your path to success. To chisel as a Successful Entrepreneur you need to be in possession of some must-have tools.
Some of the factors that contribute to the success of an entrepreneur is the timing of business launch, the market competition, the current economic condition, and others.
Let’s jump into the must-have chiseling tools of a successful entrepreneur:
1. Ability to hold yourself Accountable:
In our country, it is believed that a particular sect of people( Vaniya community) have a business mindset because of the genes they possess. However, it proven that there is “No Entrepreneurship Gene”.It is the sheer ability of being accountable when you do not have anyone as your Boss.
2. Self Awareness – Strengths and Weakness:
Today everyone is running the race of becoming the “Number One”, To be the Change, To be the owner of a business house. There is nothing wrong in runningfollow the process the race,but my question is,”Are you prepared for the race?”
“Are you aware of what it will take to be in the race and win it?”
The simple answer to my question is – First be aware of your strengths and weakness which you need to overcome so it does not hinder your chances of Winning the race. It is not necessary that what works for one will work for others.
Things will change when you play up with your strengths and are at peace with your shortcomings. Self Awareness will help you to increase your ability to receive,and apply the feedback meaningfully.
3. Resourceful Mindset:
Children have a resourceful mindset. They get to their goal, without knowing how they are going to get it. To be successful as an entrepreneur, you need not have the money or network, but having the attitude to outwork and outlearn is important.
In the entrepreneurial journey a lot of up’s and down’s will come, but having a resourceful mindset “ I will get out of the situation” will help you find the way out and reach the desired goals.
4. Being a lover of SOP(Standard Operating Process):
Most of the successful entrepreneurs recommend to follow the process.

Time and again it has been proven that a solid process definitely brings success. People with a process-oriented mindset work smart. Besides in a business where there are set processes, there is less wastage which in turn helps the business to grow and scale.
The Kaizen strategy says” there should be not a day without some kind of improvement being made in the company/business.”
Another benefit of of having processes in place is that it becomes very easy to train newbies without spending much resource and time. Hence successful business houses have SOP’s(Standard Operating Process ) for their different departments.
5. Excellent Soft Skills and Communication skills:
Non-Effective Interpersonal communication skills impact a business a lot. Excellent and effective communicators also known as Influencer leaders, take their business to the excellence level.
An effective communicator will possess the three skills – He will be an Active Listener, He will be able to get his message across clearly and he will be able to give performance feedback in a strong yet supportive manner.

6. Be Tough- Resilient:
A must-have characteristic for a successful entrepreneur. A person with resilience is often drawn to risks which they see as a challenge rather than a disclaimer because while running a business it is a common activity whereby the entrepreneur will face Closed doors more often by their Potential Customers and from their investors.
There may come a situations where a business fails if the initial idea does not take off, or some successful business owners may find their initial few businesses are not able to sustain, in both the scenarios, the business owner may have to start from square one.
And to do so they will have to be resilient and inventive to face such challenges.
Remember: Perseverance and Resilience by an entrepreneur can bring back the business to succeed.
